Do you know what I love most about giving handmade gifts? It’s the thought, the time, and the love that goes into each one. There’s something really special about making something just for someone, isn’t there?
When I’m creating a piece for a friend or a customer, I always think about the person who will receive it. What colours they like, what might make them smile, and how they’ll feel when they unwrap it. You simply can’t get that from a shop-bought gift.
Handmade also carries a story. Every stitch, every brushstroke, every little detail has been thought about and cared for. And when you give that to someone, you’re not just giving them a “thing” — you’re giving them a piece of your time, your energy, and your heart.
That’s why I believe handmade will always be treasured. Whether it’s something small like a keyring or something bigger like a quilt, it’s the thought and love that makes it priceless.
