I thought I’d start my very first blog post by telling you a little bit about why I started Vicki Ann Makes.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved making things. Whether it was sewing, knitting, or trying my hand at something new, there’s always been a project on the go in my home. Creating by hand gives me such joy — it’s calming, rewarding, and, honestly, a little bit addictive!
Over the years, friends and family kept saying, “Vicki, you should sell these!” and eventually, I decided to listen. That’s how Vicki Ann Makes was born — a little corner of the internet where I can share my creations, stories, and hopefully inspire you to pick up something crafty too.
This blog is going to be my place to share behind-the-scenes snippets, new makes, and little tips I’ve learned along the way. Think of it as having a cuppa together and chatting about all things handmade.
